As Content Creation and Social Media Specialist on AIGA Portland's marketing team, I conceptualize and create cohesive posts and stories for Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook that market events and encourage a sense of community amongst designers. Find more at @aigaportland .
The format of this carousal, with a continuous line ending in satisfying flower motifs, encourages the viewer to keep swiping to see what comes next. Bold, contrasting colors pop to catch viewer's attention.
A warm glow illuminates the name of this monthly AIGA event consistently throughout the post, complementing rather than distracting from the beautiful photos taken by Pam Valiant and Sean McMurry. Gradient colors of yellow and pink compliment the Pink Rabbit atmosphere.
Claremont Running Club
When I started a running club at my college with a group of friends, we never imagined it would grow from five to over 80 members in just three years.
This exponential growth was largely due to our social media efforts. As manager of the social media account for the early years of the club, I helped to build our Instagram and Facebook presence from the ground up, encouraging new membership and fueling participation in our programs and events.
